The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and have hands-on experience with various mechanical and electrical systems. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, providing a safe and efficient environment for all staff and customers. Duties Perform routine maintenance on facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system diagnostics and repairs. Conduct welding tasks as needed for equipment repair or fabrication. Read and interpret schematics to understand complex systems and troubleshoot effectively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Oversee residential painting projects to ensure quality standards are met. Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative work environment. Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with other departments or external vendors. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with strong mechanical knowledge. Proficiency in electrical systems, including the use of tools such as an ohmmeter. Ability to read and understand schematics related to various systems. Prior supervisory experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders. Familiarity with manufacturing environments is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative in problem-solving. Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
