Join Weatherford as a Repair and Maintenance Technician, where you'll play a vital hands-on role in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining field tools and equipment. Working with our facilities, machinery, and systems, you'll ensure tools are expertly prepared for their next assignment through the complete process, from receiving and dismantling to repairing and refurbishing. Roles and Responsibilities Safety & Compliance:
Maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring all activities comply with Weatherford's HSE policies, Management System, and industry regulations. Place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental protection as core values in all work activities. Quality Assurance:
Actively comply with and improve Weatherford's Quality Management System, maintaining service quality as an immediate priority across all business areas. Daily Operations:
Participate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA). Repair machines and equipment using tools such as hammers, hoists, cranes, drills, wrenches, and precision measuring instruments. Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to determine dimensional requirements. Maintenance Processes:
Follow established procedures for unloading, disassembly, cleaning, pressure testing, visual inspection, painting, assembly, loading, and storage of tools. Complete all necessary documentation including AIRTs, PFTs, forms, checklists, and work orders accurately. Equipment Handling:
Operate lifting equipment, forklift trucks, and cranes (certification required) for safe movement of equipment. Accept incoming shipments and prepare outbound shipments with accurate documentation. Senior Responsibilities:
Lead teams in troubleshooting equipment issues, implement corrective actions, ensure compliance with maintenance procedures, conduct root cause analysis, define work schedules, and perform quality inspections. Order parts and supplies according to company guidelines. Communication:
Report equipment failures to R&M Management and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders. Supervisors clearly communicate expectations and responsibilities to team members. Continuous Improvement:
Support LEAN initiatives and participate in continuous efficiency improvement programs. Financial Responsibility:
Ensure costs remain within approved budgets and follow relevant financial policies and procedures. Professional Development:

2-4+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry High School Diploma Basic Computer Skills Basic Mathematics proficiency Experience working with hazardous materials, radioactive elements, and explosives Awareness of NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), NDE, and ATEX policies and principles Ability to diagnose issues and problems with tools/equipment Maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and monitoring of equipment Critical thinking, active learning and listening, complex problem-solving abilities Strong reading, writing, judgment, and decision-making skills aligned with company policies Time management and quality control analysis capabilities Ability to meet the physical demands of the role Information and task ordering skills with problem identification abilities Effective and efficient operation of tools and machinery Spatial visualization for assembly, repair, and modifications Experience operating light-duty trucking trailers safely and efficiently Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Hands-on experience with casing equipment Proficiency in operating bucking units Previous experience as a material handler, forklift driver, overhead crane, including loading, unloading, and inventory handling #LI-KP1
