, proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in commercial/residential maintenance. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced setting, supporting our commitment to operational excellence. This position also requires to be on call during weekends for emergency purposes. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, electrical equipment, and plumbing to identify potential issues before they escalate. Perform repairs and maintenance on appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems, and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals. Troubleshoot complex equipment failures by analyzing system diagrams and schematics to determine root causes. Repair or replace faulty parts on mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems to ensure continuous operation. Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing technical support and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks, lead small projects when necessary, and promote a culture of safety and efficiency. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair and equipment troubleshooting. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams. Experience working with HVAC/R systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and related controls. Demonstrated service technician experience with a focus on maintenance and repair tasks. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively. Leadership qualities that enable guidance of junior team members or apprentices when needed. Construction experience is a plus for supporting facility upgrades or modifications.
