Maintenance Technician

Industrial Maintenance Technician $31.50 3rd shift The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operations of wire-manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various production equipment such as acoumeters, payoffs, take-ups, and extrusion lines. The technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility systems to minimize downtime and uphold product quality. The role demands 3-5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the capability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment while supporting continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, including acoumeters, payoffs, take-ups, and extrusion lines. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility systems. Minimize equipment downtime and maintain product quality. Support continuous improvement efforts in the manufacturing process. Essential Skills 3-5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting and repair. Experience with preventive maintenance and CMMS systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Basic PLC troubleshooting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with CMMS systems. Computer efficiency. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockwall, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.50 - $31.50/hr.
