delivery/general maintenance 4002 Wellington Street, San Angelo, TX 76904 From $12.50 an hour - Part-time, Full-time From $12.50 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform routine repairs and maintenance on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and other building systems. Assist in the installation of new equipment and fixtures as required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with other departments as necessary to facilitate repairs or improvements. Operate various tools and equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles for delivery or transport tasks when needed. Qualifications Previous experience in general maintenance or related fields is preferred. Skills in customer service and effective communication are essential for interacting with staff and management. Experience with delivery driving, route driving, or courier services is a plus. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Must be able to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with maintenance work. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred for any driving responsibilities associated with the role.
