$24•25 per hour We're seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations across our community. This role works closely with the Lead Maintenance Supervisor to ensure our property remains safe, functional, and well‑maintained. If you're certified, hands‑on, and ready to grow your career, this is a strong opportunity. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily maintenance tasks throughout the property Complete work orders involving basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections Support unit turns, including painting, repairs, and cleaning Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems within certification scope Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff Qualifications EPA or HVAC certification required (Type I, II, or Universal) 1+ year of property maintenance or related experience preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset Ability to participate in on‑call rotation Benefits Through BG Staffing Weekly pay Health, dental, and vision insurance options PTO or sick leave in accordance with applicable state and local laws Referral bonus opportunities About BG Staffing BG Staffing is a nationwide staffing firm specializing in the property management and multifamily industry.
