Hotel Maintenance Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Hotel Maintenance Technician to help maintain our hotel property and provide a great experience for our guests. This position is responsible for general maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, and upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel equipment. The ideal candidate has experience with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs, and takes pride in keeping a property clean, safe, and fully operational. Responsibilities Perform general hotel maintenance and repairs Respond to guest maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Complete preventative maintenance throughout the property Troubleshoot basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical issues Repair and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and exterior grounds Perform painting, caulking, drywall, tile, and minor carpentry repairs Maintain pool/spa area and outdoor facilities Monitor lighting, equipment, and safety systems Keep maintenance areas organized and safe Assist with meeting room setups and special projects as needed Participate in on-call emergency maintenance when required Qualifications Previous maintenance experience preferred (hotel experience is a plus) Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance Ability to use hand and power tools safely Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors as needed Schedule Full-time Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed On-call availability may occasionally be required Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Disability insurance Paid time off Marriott hotel discounts Flexible scheduling Employee Assistance Program Referral Program Opportunities for monetary performance-based incentives
