A critical role in elevating spaces by maintaining the aesthetic, and functionality of the outdoors. This position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and techniques to care for landscapes, trees, lawns, and hardscape features. You will be depended on to ensure residential and commercial properties remain inviting, safe and well-kept for all visitors and property owners. Duties Perform groundskeeping activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, blowing, aerating, and weed control to keep turf healthy and elevated Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, and installing new hardscape features Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, edging, pruning, and installing irrigation systems, and pressure washing Maintain hardscape elements including walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures through cleaning and minor repairs Assist with preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery for the highest quality end product and safety standards Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, planting Use equipment like skid steers; excavators or other construction machinery for larger landscaping or site improvement projects Follow safety protocols at all times when working with machinery and tools Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality Qualifications Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot various landscaping equipment and power tools Previous experience with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and weed management Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques encompassing planting, pruning, irrigation installation/repair, and hardscape upkeep Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes along with power tools like trimmers or blowers effectively Familiarity with operating construction equipment such as excavators for site development projects Understanding of horticulture principles related to plant health and landscape design Experience in tree care including trimming, pruning, planting or removal with proper safety procedures Ability to perform routine maintenance on landscaping machinery to maximize lifespan and safety standards Work along side us in elevating spaces!
