Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, heating and air conditioning, painting, performing structural and repairs to masonry in the units and common areas or furnishing of the community as needed. Assist with the maintenance of the community, including but not limited to minor repairs, grounds upkeep for common areas, paints structures, repairs sheetrock, repairs woodwork, repairs boilers, appliances, floors tile, and plumbing fixtures. Assist with maintenance tasks such as minor construction, lifts, moves, and carries heavy objects as requested by the Lead Maintenance. Performs preventive maintenance, such as replacing air filters and cleaning vents, and schedule service providers to complete other required preventive maintenance, such as pest control, and regular HVAC inspections. Assist with maintaining records of all maintenance requests, open and close work orders. As rental units are vacated, assist with the make-ready process as requested by the Lead Maintenance Responds promptly to all on-call pages/work orders and reports any maintenance issues and/or concerns to the supervisor on time. Assist with estimating materials and/or equipment needed to complete work projects to ensure timely completion of work orders. Assist with the inspections of the community, alarm systems, and their components to identify necessary repairs within the established timeframes. Assist with repairs, maintains tools, equipment, systems, and/or components (e.g., hand tools, power tools, etc.) to ensure the availability of equipment in safe operating
REQUIREMENTS EPA
Type II or EPA Universal CPO or MPO or willing to get certified within 60 days of employment.
COMPENSATION
The position is a full-time position, with an initial 90-day trial period. Compensation is dependent upon experience
