In this role, you will play a vital part in the community by preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents and maintaining the overall curb appeal of the property. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a solid mix of hands-on technical and property upkeep skills.
Duties Unit Turnover & Painting:
Full preparation of vacant units for move-in, including extensive interior painting, drywall patching, caulking, and minor cosmetic repairs.
Basic Maintenance:
Troubleshoot and perform basic plumbing (fixing leaks, replacing faucets, clearing drains) and electrical work (replacing light fixtures, outlets, and switches).
Daily Groundskeeping:
Clean and maintain the exterior of the property daily. This includes picking up litter, emptying trash receptacles, sweeping walkways, and ensuring a welcoming first impression for residents and guests.
Appliance & Fixture Repair:
Repair or replace household appliances, blinds, ceiling fans, and door locks as needed.
Safety & Inspection:
Assist with property inspections and ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards.
Qualifications and Requirements Experience:
Proven experience in residential property maintenance, turn/make-ready processes, or general handyman work.
Painting Skills:
Strong proficiency in interior residential painting and drywall repair is required.
Technical Knowledge:
Hands-on, basic working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to walk the grounds daily, lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Attributes:
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Availability:
Reliable transportation and flexibility to handle occasional on-call rotations or weekend emergencies (if applicable).
Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour
