Job Description

About Us:
We are a luxury landscape resort nestled in the scenic Texas Hill Country — where nature meets design, and rugged elegance meets refined comfort. We offer guests a curated outdoor hospitality experience unlike any other. We're seeking a skilled, hardworking, and dependable Maintenance Technician with Hot Tub & Pool experience to ensure our facilities and water features reflect the same level of excellence our guests expect throughout their stay.
Position Summary:
This is a hands-on, full-time position focused on the daily servicing of hot tubs and pools across the resort. You'll be responsible for ensuring these luxury amenities are sparkling clean, chemically balanced, and fully operational at all times. The role also includes limited general maintenance and support for guest services , including daily communication with the onsite team via Slack . You must be organized, reliable, and eager to take ownership of your work — someone who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty in the name of delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role is vital to maintaining our high standards and delivering peace, beauty, and relaxation to every guest.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Hot Tub & Pool Servicing:
Clean, maintain, and inspect all hot tubs and pools on the property Ensure all water features are immaculate and guest-ready by check-in time each day
Chemical Balancing & Water Testing:
Test and balance water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.) in compliance with safety and sanitation regulations Maintain accurate daily logs and follow SOPs for water management
Preventative Maintenance & Light Repairs:
Inspect and maintain pool/spa equipment including pumps, heaters, filters, and plumbing Identify, troubleshoot, and perform light repairs or coordinate with external vendors when needed Support Daily Guest Services (via Slack): Communicate actively with team members in Slack to assist with guest requests, unit readiness, and issue resolution Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth daily flow and outstanding guest experience
Limited General Maintenance Support:
Assist with occasional light property maintenance tasks (e.g., landscaping, paint touch-ups, basic repairs, minor upkeep of units)
Autonomous Field Work:
Work independently across the property to complete service tasks on time and to high standards Maintain a clean and well-organized equipment area and service kit
Quality & Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety and cleanliness protocols for guest health and satisfaction Follow resort SOPs, inspection routines, and checklists to ensure quality assurance
Qualifications:
Experience:
2+ years of experience in spa/pool servicing, preferably in a resort, luxury hotel, or outdoor hospitality environment
Technical Knowledge:
Solid understanding of water chemistry, equipment troubleshooting, and spa/pool operations CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification is a plus
Work Ethic & Grit:
Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to take initiative. You're the kind of person who jumps in and gets things done, no matter the task
Communication:
Professional, clear communicator — comfortable using Slack and other digital tools to coordinate with the team
Customer Service Attitude:
While not guest-facing in most moments, your work directly affects the guest experience — attention to detail is key
Flexibility:
Willing to work weekends, holidays, and be on-call for urgent issues. Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stretch, and work on your feet for extended periods Why Work with us?
