In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and construction tasks across various projects. Your enthusiasm and hands-on skills will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and renovation projects. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your craft, work with a skilled team, and gain valuable experience in multiple facets of construction and repair. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance, repairs, and installations on buildings and infrastructure using hand tools and power tools. Assist with construction tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, and painting to support project progress. Operate heavy equipment safely when required for site preparation or material handling. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute tasks like fixture installation, door hanging, or masonry work. Conduct site inspections to ensure safety standards are met and work quality is maintained throughout each phase of the project. Assist in concrete forming, finishing, restoration work, and other specialized trades such as stucco, plastering, or welding as needed. Support fabrication and installation of cabinetry, glass fixtures, hardscape elements, or roofing components to meet project specifications. Skills Proficiency with hand tools (saws, drills, hammers) and power tools necessary for diverse construction tasks. Experience reading blueprints and schematics to accurately interpret project requirements. Knowledge of construction management principles and estimating techniques is a plus. Skilled in soft plumbing, soft electrical work, carpentry (including trim carpentry and frame carpentry), masonry, or roofing is highly desirable. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and inspection procedures. Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to ensure quality workmanship across all tasks. Join us in building something great!
