Hotel Maintenance Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical wiring, lighting, appliances, plumbing fixtures, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Operate specialized tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose faults and execute repairs effectively. Conduct residential painting, carpentry, welding, and other facilities maintenance tasks to uphold the property's appearance and safety standards. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future inspections. Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities upgrades or renovations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in facilities maintenance within hospitality or manufacturing environments. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical wiring diagrams. Hands-on experience with welding techniques and residential painting is highly desirable. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints accurately. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination. Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience in maintenance or facilities management roles. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking.
