Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Perform routine inspections of vacation rental properties to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards. Repair or replace faulty appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and other property components. Address urgent maintenance requests from guests or property managers promptly and professionally. Assist with property setup, including furniture assembly, appliance installation, and minor renovations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including completed tasks and materials used. Coordinate with housekeeping and property managers to ensure smooth property turnovers. Follow safety protocols and proper use of tools and equipment at all times. Maintain and organize maintenance supplies, tools and equipment. Reccommend upgrades or improvements to enhance property safety, functionality, and guest experience. Requirements Previous experience in property maintenance, repair work, or vacation rental maintenance preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Good physical stamina:

ability to lift, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair techniques. Basic handyman skills for minor carpentry, painting, and appliance repair. Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests or property staff. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately. Ability to identify and troubleshoot maintenance problems quickly and safely.

Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
