Competitive, based on experience Join Our Team Sunshine Terrace Foundation is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors, and management regarding maintenance requests and project updates. Complete preventive maintenance tasks to support the safe and efficient operation of facility systems. Respond to urgent maintenance needs, including occasional after-hours situations. Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and promptly. Follow all applicable safety procedures, regulations, and facility policies. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Previous maintenance experience preferred; healthcare, senior living, or skilled nursing experience is a plus. Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities. High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or vocational training preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
