Reports to:
Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities:
Install, startup and shutdown equipment in accordance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting for the repair and maintenance of production equipment. Carry out necessary logistics work, including receive of goods, preparation of goods for upcoming production orders and loading of bulk product for shipment. Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc. Maintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school, GED, or equivalent education. Trade or vocational school education is preferred. 2 years of experience working in a maintenance role in various environments is required. Experience with blending systems, pumps, valves and think tops. Experience working in a food and beverage manufacturing facility is preferred. Preferred Industrial electrical up to 480 VACS, Controls, PLC/software &hardware experience. Experience with homogenizers , sterilizers & Hydraulics is preferred. Experience working in a food and beverage manufacturing facility is preferred. Able to understand and safely use various hand tools and power tools to carry out and complete maintenance tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of electrical components such as (but not limited to) VFD's motor starters, temperature sensor. Industrial electrical up to 480 VACS Controls & instrumentations PLC/software &hardware experience Pneumatics & Hydraulic experience BRC/HACCP, Environment, Sustainability Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force at times and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F-80F degrees) Ability to repeat motions that may include use of the wrists, hands and/or fingers, and standing or sitting for prolonged periods (average 8-12 hours).
