Maintenance on suites/building:

• Light plumbing
• tightening leaks, replacing toilet mechanisms, replacing disposals, replacing fixtures
• Light electrical
• replacing bulbs, replacing light fixtures, replacing bathroom fans
• Painting
• touch up occasionally or assist in painting projects (painting an entire suite, for example)
• Landscaping
• keeping the property completely weed free. Sweeping parking lot, troubleshooting/repairing sprinklers
• Light HVAC
• changing air filters, cleaning air conditioning compressors, keeping dryer vents clear
• Custom furniture build/repair
• building bed frames (occasionally), repairing furniture (sanding, gluing, staining, etc)
• Pest control
• we have the supplies
• just need to apply according to schedule
• Making supply runs
• picking up orders from Lowes, Sherwin Williams, etc
• Hanging pictures, curtain rods and any other décor installations
• Building maintenance
• servicing fireplaces, replacing air filters and smoke detectors, replacing screens
• Repairing damages by guests
• rehanging pictures, repairing furniture
• Helping with new construction projects
• hanging sheet rock, installing flooring, etc (we hire contractors to do structural work).

One of our upcoming projects is building another tiny house! And whenever there is not maintenance or repairs for the inn, we are going to build a tiny house! From the studs up! We're finishing one now and then we have the trailer to start the next one.

TIME EXPECTATIONS & SCHEDULING

We have about 35 hours/week of work for sure, but for the right person, we could take as little as 20 or use as much as 40. When you are hired, we will set up a schedule that works for you/us and stick to that. Your day will start with checking the maintenance list that comes from the housekeepers as well as the list of current projects. Occasional off hours emergency back up help will be needed and is expected (very rare).
