Job Description
Preventative & Routine Maintenance Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance on guestrooms, public areas, equipment, and building systems. Complete work orders promptly and accurately. Ensure that all tools and supplies are maintained in good condition and stored safely. Repairs & Troubleshooting Respond quickly to guest or staff requests regarding maintenance issues (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, furniture, etc.). Diagnose problems and perform minor repairs; coordinate with external vendors for larger projects when necessary. Maintain pool, spa, and fitness equipment per health and safety standards (if applicable). Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, OSHA regulations, and local building codes. Conduct regular safety inspections (fire alarms, emergency lighting, sprinklers, etc.). Keep accurate records of maintenance work and inspections. Team Support Assist in maintaining the exterior grounds, parking lot, and landscaping as needed. Support other departments during high-demand times (e.g., setting up equipment, moving furniture). Be available for on-call duty and respond to after-hours emergencies when scheduled. Work Experience Previous maintenance or engineering experience preferred, ideally in hospitality or a related field. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting. Ability to use tools, operate maintenance equipment, and read technical manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
