Maintenance Technician Job Description Assist with daily production needs regarding breakdowns to support Operation's goals. Maintain equipment by OEM manuals or implementation of PM programs. Performs mechanical and electrical repair of all machinery and production equipment. Responsibilities Assist with daily production needs regarding breakdowns to support Operation's goals. Maintain equipment by OEM manuals or implementation of PM programs. Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on all machinery and production equipment. Troubleshoot motors, belts, chains, gears, bearings, hydraulics, and other components. Read and interpret electrical schematics. Understand and work with 120 single phase and 480V 3 phase motors. Essential Skills Mechanical repair and troubleshooting abilities. Experience with preventative maintenance. Ability to read electrical schematics. Knowledge of 120 single phase and 480V 3 phase motors. Manufacturing experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, air compressors, chains, and bearings. Additional Skills & Qualifications Fabrication experience (MIG, Stick). Experience troubleshooting PLCs. Experience working in a sawmill or wood production environment. Experience working on forklifts (propane and industrial). Experience with air compressors (reading manuals, coil issues, temperature control). Work Environment and schedule This is a wood pallet manufacturing company, operating in an indoor/outdoor environment with covered buildings. 1 x Third Shift (Monday - Friday 11:00pm-7:30am) 1x Second shift (Monday - Friday 4:00pm-12:30am) Job Type & Location This position is based out of

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashland, VA 23005. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
