- What You'll Do
- As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT), you will: + Install, inspect, repair, and maintain
- material handling equipment
- (such as conveyors) + Perform
- preventative maintenance (PM)
- and complete all related documentation + Conduct
- battery maintenance and replacements
- + Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform
- diagnostics and repairs
- + Read and interpret
- blueprints and electrical schematics
- + Log downtime and maintenance activity in daily systems + Manage spare parts inventory and maintain organized work areas + Follow and uphold
- strict safety standards
- What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- + Minimum
- 2+ years of experience
- in: + Preventative & predictive maintenance + Repair of material handling equipment or conveyor systems + Reading blueprints and electrical schematics + Electrical and electronic principles + At least
- 1+ year of troubleshooting and diagnostics experience
- + Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills + Ability to work in a
- data-driven environment
Key Skills:
- + Equipment maintenance & repair + Diagnostic testing + Mechanical troubleshooting + Lockout/tagout procedures + Preventative maintenance
- Work Environment
- + Large, modern distribution center with
- high-speed automated and robotic systems
- + Physically active role - expect to walk up to
- 10,000 steps per day
- + Performance is measured using data and metrics (no micromanagement, but clear expectations)

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesapeake, VA.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may besubject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefitsavailable for this temporary role may include the following:
