This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can hit the ground running and consistently deliver top-quality service. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with residential pool service, equipment repair, and customer interaction, and takes pride in earning 5-star reviews. Key Responsibilities Perform weekly pool maintenance, including vacuuming floors, steps, walls, tiles, and cleaning pump baskets Test pool water and properly balance water chemistry Perform pool start-ups, openings, closings, and pool schools- Diagnose, repair, and replace pool equipment (warranty experience a plus)
- Program Hayward OmniLogic systems and other controllers Document pool conditions and repair needs clearly Communicate professionally with customers and management Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pool Service Technician (required)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of pool equipment, plumbing, and minor electrical systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented High School Diploma or GED required Valid Virginia driver's license and clean DMV record Background check required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, lifting)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Availability to work some Saturdays during spring and summer
- Willingness to assist construction crews during winter months
