Job Description

Lot Porter/Facilities Maintenance Johnson Truck Center Manassas, VA $25 Johnson Truck Center, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a Lot Porter/Facilities Maintenance associate. This position is focused on supporting the daily operations of the branch by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility and lot environment. The Lot Porter / Facilities Maintenance employee will assist multiple departments as needed while helping ensure the property, grounds, and work areas are properly maintained. This job description contains a summary of responsibilities and expectations for the Lot Porter / Facilities Maintenance role. These duties should not be considered to include all aspects of the position. Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, service shop, parking lot, and surrounding grounds Remove trash, cardboard, pallets, scrap materials, and other debris from the property Assist with basic building and grounds maintenance as needed Move, organize, and stage vehicles and equipment throughout the lot and service areas Support technicians and service personnel with general shop assistance Perform pickup and delivery of parts, supplies, and other company-related items as needed Monitor the facility and report any maintenance, safety, or operational concerns to management Assist with maintaining a safe and professional working environment for employees and customers Operate company equipment and vehicles safely and responsibly Perform additional duties as assigned by management Requirements Class B CDL required 6-12 months of previous work experience preferred Ability to read and understand written instructions and information Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to safely operate vehicles, equipment, and machinery Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety Valid driver s license required Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Why Indel Power Group Competitive compensation package, DOE Monthly performance incentives Rewarding work environment Opportunities for relocation & advancement Long established, family-owned business
