  • and full-time Floor Technicians to join our team and help deliver exceptional service to our residents and staff.
The ideal candidates will have experience working in senior living communities, including long-term care, assisted living, or memory care settings, and demonstrate a genuine passion for serving older adults. Floor Technicians are responsible for performing assigned floor care, cleaning, and housekeeping duties throughout the facility in accordance with established quality, safety, and customer service standards. Successful candidates will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, and carpet extraction. Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively. Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times. Identify and address floor hazards; report maintenance and repair needs promptly. Respond to spills, emergency cleanups, and other environmental services needs. Maintain floor care supplies and equipment in good working order. Assist with community events, resident move-ins/move-outs, and special cleaning projects. Ensure common areas and resident spaces remain clean, safe, and well-maintained. Interact with residents, visitors, and team members in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience operating floor care equipment, including buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers, and carpet extractors. Knowledge of floor finishes, coatings, and proper maintenance techniques for various flooring surfaces. Understanding of OSHA safety standards, chemical handling, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to work safely in occupied resident care areas while minimizing disruption to residents and staff. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing daily needs. Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and strong attendance record. Experience working with older adults and an understanding of resident-centered service principles preferred.
