This individual will perform a variety of duties involved in the installation, alterations, maintenance, development and repair of plant machinery, equipment, facilities, and structures.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of mechanical, electrical and manufacturing equipment and machinery Set up and operate machining tools such as engine lathe, milling machine, drill press, grinders, alter or construct replacement parts, recondition production tooling Maintain plant plumbing, heating, cooling, and related facilities and equipment Read and understand electrical diagrams and blueprints Knowledge of PLCS, electronic and mechanical systems Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems Identify and resolve problems before they become costly Welding, fabrication and machining skills Computer skills in Microsoft Office Knowledge and utilization of lean manufacturing tools Assume the job of temporary team leader on a rotational basis Good verbal and written communication skills to communicate with all levels of the organization Required to maintain certifications of plant safety and housekeeping practices Understanding of lean manufacturing Work in a fast pace environment with changing priorities Understanding of lean manufacturing Other duties as necessary Your profile
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE / BASIC QUALIFICATIONS A 2
year Electro Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or related degree OR has a minimum of 5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience with experience in areas listed in this job posting. Willing to work rotating shifts (days to nights) or night shift. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
