Floor Cleaner

Daily Maintenance:

Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning hard surfaces and carpets to ensure a clean, safe, and professional environment.

Deep Cleaning/Restoration:

Operating floor equipment to perform deep cleaning tasks, including stripping old wax, applying new finish (waxing), and buffing/burnishing for a polished, high-gloss shine.

Safety Compliance:

Using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), placing warning signs (e.g., "wet floor"), and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Site Maintenance:

Moving furniture or equipment to clean areas and notifying management of needed repairs.

Requirements and Qualifications Experience:

Previous experience as a floor tech or janitor is highly desired, though many employers offer on-the-job training.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for 3+ hours per day, as well as lift heavy equipment.

Technical Skill:

Understanding of various chemicals and cleaning agents.

Reliability:

Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work independently or on a team.

Education:

High school diploma or GED is often required.

Schedule Flexibility:

And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day.
