Full Job Description Shift :

Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of commercial facilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshoot complex systems, and contribute to the safety and efficiency of our clients' properties. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, technical expertise, and a passion for maintaining high standards across diverse commercial environments. Your hands-on skills will help keep facilities running smoothly, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Conduct welding, electrical work, and basic carpentry tasks as needed to support facility operations. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to diagnose issues accurately. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future tasks. Lead small teams or supervise subcontractors during maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Assist with facilities maintenance including residential painting, general repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about maintenance status and resolving issues promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety regulations at all times. Requirements Proven experience in facilities or commercial maintenance with a strong background in electrical systems, mechanical knowledge, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, wiring diagrams, and the use of diagnostic tools like ohmmeters. Skilled in welding, electrical repairs, plumbing, and general facilities maintenance tasks. Prior supervisory or leadership experience is preferred to manage teams or oversee projects effectively. Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately for efficient diagnostics. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and client interactions. Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management is highly desirable. Experience in manufacturing or residential painting adds value but is not mandatory. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
