Department Maintenance Position Type Regular Location US-VA-Salem Job Overview Marvin Composites is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician at our Salem, VA location. Marvin Composites is looking for individuals with a desire to contribute to an innovation-driven organization. In this role, you'll help keep our facility and manufacturing equipment running efficiently. You'll take on a variety of tasks including troubleshooting, repairing, ordering parts, and play a key role in maintaining our high standards of quality. You'll also have the opportunity to take ownership of your work and see the direct impact of your contributions.Schedule:
6:30 PM- 3:00 AM Monday
Friday Pay:
Base rate: $24-37/hr + 20% night premium Highlights of your role- Provide timely support, perform preventive and reactive maintenance, identify root causes, and ensure thorough follow
- up on equipment issues
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Plan work effectively, coordinating with production & leadership to ensure success
- Order parts as needed to keep our equipment running smoothly
- Monitor and maintain facility equipment to minimize downtime and scrap
- Continuously improve equipment, processes, methods, etc., to drive innovation You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- A two-year technical degree or a comparable level of knowledge and skills acquired through relevant work experience
- Ability to perform accurate and thorough work with attention to detail
- Strong Electrical and Mechanical skills
