Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assisting with the general upkeep, repair, and maintenance of Association facilities, buildings, and grounds. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals looking to build hands-on experience in facility maintenance, with opportunities for skill development. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on buildings, equipment, and common areas Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC tasks under supervision Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and equipment Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping support, and event setup/breakdown Report major repair needs or safety issues to supervisor Follow all safety procedures and Association policies Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Prior maintenance experience preferred but not required Basic knowledge of hand and power tools Willingness to learn and take direction Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Schedule & Availability Expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week (or adjust as needed) May require occasional evenings, weekends, or emergency call response
Pay:
$24.00 per hour
