Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities by performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and inviting environment for guests and staff alike. Duties Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues using schematics, electrical experience, and mechanical knowledge. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ohmmeters to diagnose electrical problems accurately. Perform welding tasks and residential painting to maintain the aesthetic quality of the property. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders, maintenance history, and inventory. Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are met. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for complex repair tasks. Lead or support team members in maintenance activities while demonstrating leadership skills. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments. Proficiency with electrical systems, schematics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and ohmmeters. Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting for property upkeep. Excellent understanding of CMMS software for effective maintenance management. Ability to read technical diagrams and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues efficiently. Supervising experience with a focus on safety, teamwork, and customer service orientation. Fluency in English with clear communication skills essential for documentation and collaboration.
