Floor Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Floor Technician to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our commercial facilities. Duties Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment and techniques to maintain fresh, clean carpets Apply floor care treatments such as buffing, polishing, and sealing to preserve the quality and appearance of various flooring types Operate janitorial equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and extractors Ensure all cleaning supplies and materials are stocked, organized, and used responsibly in accordance with safety protocols Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe working environment for all staff Skills Proven experience in custodial or janitorial services within commercial or institutional settings Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and carpet cleaning methods Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work Good organizational skills to manage supplies and prioritize tasks efficiently Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety guidelines Strong communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with team members Join our team as a Floor Technician and be part of a dynamic environment where your skills directly contribute to creating clean, safe, and welcoming spaces.
