Job Description

Description The Fairfield Inn and Suites
  • Stony Creek, managed by Essex Hotel Management, is currently seeking a DRIVEN Engineer.
The Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the hotel.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the hotel Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all systems as needed Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues that arise with the systems Coordinate with outside contractors as needed for larger repairs or installations Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards Respond promptly to any emergency situations that arise Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed What are we looking for? Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including nights and weekends
