This position is ideal for a hands-on professional with a strong work ethic and a passion for maintaining high-quality residential communities. At BECO, we are passionate about creating places where people love to live—and your work will help us achieve that every day.
Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs. Complete work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner. Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents (unit turns), including painting, repairs, and cleaning. Respond to emergency maintenance calls as part of an on-call rotation (includes nights/weekends— generous call pay provided ). Maintain the overall cleanliness and condition of the property's physical assets and grounds. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies. Collaborate with the Community Manager and other team members to provide excellent resident service.
Qualifications:
2+ year of experience in apartment or residential maintenance preferred. Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry. HVAC certification is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.). Available for night and weekend on-call duty. Must be organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills and a commitment to professionalism and customer service. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
