Duties Install, repair, and troubleshoot garage doors, openers, springs, cables, rollers, and tracks with precision and attention to safety standards Perform glass installation on doors or related fixtures as needed to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to modify or create custom components for door systems Conduct heavy lifting of door panels and hardware safely during installation or repairs Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble or modify door systems and fixtures Execute door hanging, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and trim carpentry tasks for seamless installations Apply locksmithing skills for lock replacement or rekeying; perform electrical work related to door openers and control systems Utilize construction site experience to coordinate with other trades during remodeling or renovation projects involving door systems Caulk and seal around installations to prevent drafts or water intrusion; install fixtures such as cabinets or other hardware as required Follow schematics and technical instructions meticulously to ensure precise fabrication and installation of components Qualifications Proven experience with construction-related tasks such as carpentry, remodeling, metal stud framing, or fixture installation Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Experience in glass installation, locksmithing, electrical work, or handyman roles is highly desirable Physical ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights during door hanging or installation processes Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and experience working in remodeling environments Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and quality workmanship Join us in delivering top-tier garage door solutions that combine craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology.
