Job Description Industrial Maintenance Technician Position Summary We're looking for a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of manufacturing equipment across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. If you're the kind of person who can walk up to a machine, listen to it, and figure out what's wrong-you'll fit right in. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to minimize downtime Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues Install, modify, and remove equipment as needed Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Observe equipment in operation and identify performance issues or failure risks Replace or repair defective components and verify proper operation Adjust and optimize machine settings for performance and reliability Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history Support production teams with equipment-related issues and training as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Identify and communicate opportunities for equipment or process improvement Core Skills & Experience Strong troubleshooting ability across multiple systems (mechanical, electrical, etc.) Experience with industrial equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics Working knowledge of: Motors, drives, and basic controls Pneumatic and hydraulic systems Hand tools and diagnostic equipment Basic math and measurement skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Safety & Compliance Follow all OSHA and company safety requirements Understand and apply lockout/tagout procedures Use PPE and safety equipment appropriately Support and participate in preventive maintenance programs Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs Stand, walk, bend, and work on feet for extended periods (8-10 hours) Work in a manufacturing environment around active equipment Preferred Qualifications 2+ years industrial maintenance experience Experience with CNC or fabrication equipment (press brakes, lasers, etc.) Electrical troubleshooting (120V-480V) Welding or fabrication skills (a plus, not required) What You'll Bring A practical, problem-solving mindset Reliability and accountability-equipment depends on you Willingness to jump in where needed Clear communication with operators and supervisors Work Environment Manufacturing / fabrication shop Fast-paced, team-oriented setting Mix of scheduled maintenance and on-the-spot troubleshooting
