Lubrication Technician (Temp-to-Hire)

Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Axiom Staffing Group is recruiting a Lubrication Technician on behalf of a manufacturing client in Winchester, VA. This temp-to-hire opportunity offers the potential for long-term employment based on performance and business needs. Position Overview The Lubrication Technician supports preventative maintenance operations by ensuring proper lubrication of equipment, monitoring systems, and maintaining accurate records within the maintenance control system. Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain oil levels across a variety of equipment Inspect, monitor, and refill automatic grease systems Perform scheduled lubrication tasks on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis as assigned through the maintenance control system Document maintenance activities, findings, and completed work electronically Prioritize and manage assigned tasks in coordination with operational schedules Perform work safely while following established procedures and personal protective equipment guidelines Use and maintain basic mechanical hand tools Move throughout the facility, including climbing ladders and stairs and working at elevated heights, while performing job duties Handle materials and components, including lifting and moving items as part of routine maintenance tasks Bend, reach, and maneuver around machinery and equipment to complete assigned responsibilities Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and equipment Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to support safe and effective job performance Basic math and computer skills Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently Previous mechanical experience in a manufacturing or printing environment preferred Experience with hydraulic or pneumatic systems is a plus Welding or machining experience is a plus Thank you for reviewing our Lubrication Technician position!
