Job Description

Join us this season as we create memorable experiences for our guests while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the Burlington waterfront. We are currently seeking Dock Hands to assist customers with boat rentals. Ideal candidates will have a passion for boating, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in an outdoor environment. This role is essential to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for boat renters. Previous marina, boating, or dockhand experience is preferred but not required.
Requirements:
Boating license / certification (available online). Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic knowledge of boat handling, docking, and safety procedures (training available). Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Willingness to work flexible hours on weekends. This role requires strong verbal communication skills, as well as a friendly and engaging demeanor with our customers.
Responsibilities:
Greeting customers and assisting them onto their rental boat. Operating the check-in software on an iPad. Providing a safety briefing about the equipment on the boat, the proper use of the boat, and the lake rules and hazards. Driving, docking, cleaning and fueling boats between rentals.
Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
