We are looking for a Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd Shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm). If you have 3 - 5 years of experience and work well in teams, we would like to hear from you!
This is a 2nd Shift position which offers an additional Shift Differential of 6%.
Description:
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing proper maintenance procedures to promote the efficient and safe operation of production equipment, building systems and work areas. This role requires 3-5 years of hands-on experience and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.Key Responsibilities Include:
Diagnoses machineequipment malfunction and determines need for adjustment or repair. Works with other members of the maintenance team in major plant production equipment and systems repairs including pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, gears, sprockets, chains, stream control, air control systems, and boilers. Handles electrical repairs and installations by installing wires, motors, controllers, electrical fixtures and etc. to complete a work assignment. Troubleshooting PLC and AC frequency drives. Other dutiestasks assigned by direct supervisor or any managerial staff member.Qualifications:
Three to five years of experience in electrical and mechanical diagnostic and repair in an industrial production environment. Accomplished in the use of a variety of test equipment and machine tools. Basic working knowledge of a P.C. - based parts and work order system is a plus. Demonstrated positive safety attitude. Individual must be quality conscious, detail oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and a team player. Ability to read electrical and mechanical print and diagrams, both domestic and foreign.
