Maintenance Technician

About us We are a growing manufacturing company of chimney venting systems looking for a full-time, energetic and motivated team player who shares the same passion as us and has fun doing it! We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our facilities in top condition. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, must be able to work independently and as part of a team, have strong problem-solving skills, and be able to follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining manufacturing & warehouse equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operation Diagnose causes of electrical and mechanical malfunction, failure of equipment, system repairs and replace defective components The position requires immediate attention to downed equipment, and other high priority tasks to keep the manufacturing facility in operation. Long-term projects include development of maintenance schedules and plans for all equipment in the facility Basic facility maintenance: sand / salt driveway, paint touchups, etc.

Skills/ Experience:

Familiar with many types of repairs & diagnosis including but not limited to Electrical, Electronics, Plumbing, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Carpentry. Primary equipment for knowledge would include typical sheet metal shop machinery such as, CNC plasma tables, CNC turret punches, CNC breaks, Spot welders, MIG/TIG welders, Hand & Power rollers, Hydraulic Presses, Shears, Bailers, Battery & LP Forklifts, Overhead Cranes, and other proprietary equipment. Manufacturing is primarily metal based materials. Candidate should be well versed in welding equipment & techniques. Trouble shooting & diagnosis and computer skills are required Forklift experience a plus (propane and electric)

Schedule:

Monday through Friday Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
