Job Description

Company Overview:
Join our dynamic team at Harco Fittings here in Bellingham, Washington, a leading industrial services provider committed to PVC fabrication, safety and sustainability. We are looking for a candidate that provides our core values of "We care", We Dare", "We Deliver" to add to our team.
Position Summary:
We are seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to add to our team. This position includes maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems within our manufacturing facility, with some small amounts of fabrication and welding. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems effectively Install, modify, and upgrade industrial equipment according to manufacturer specifications and company standards Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation of repairs and services Collaborate with maintenance Supervisor and production teams to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards at all times. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to maintain production up times
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED is required; and/or technical certifications in HVAC, hydraulics, electrical, millwrighting are all acceptable 1+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing low voltage electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Familiarity with PLC programming, motor controls, and variable frequency drives is a plus. Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues. Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces Capability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks in various environmental conditions.
Pay & Shift:
Starting hourly rate of $30.17/hour Monday-Friday day shift 6am-2:30pm or 8am-4:30pm, with some occasional weekend work
