In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to provide guests with a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment. Your expertise will help uphold our high standards of facility excellence while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to building systems promptly, minimizing downtime and guest disruption. Conduct repairs involving welding, residential painting, electrical work, and mechanical adjustments using schematics and technical manuals. Operate specialized tools such as ohmmeters and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose system faults accurately. Manage facilities maintenance tasks using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedules, and inventory. Supervise junior maintenance staff or contractors during large projects or repairs, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Oversee the installation of new equipment or upgrades in compliance with safety standards and building codes. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance within hospitality or residential environments. Proficiency in electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting electrical issues. Hands-on experience with welding techniques and residential painting projects. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in building automation systems. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints accurately. Experience using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English to coordinate with team members and guests when necessary. Supervising experience demonstrating leadership in managing maintenance teams or contractors effectively. Knowledge of manufacturing or large-scale facility operations is a plus.
