Landscaper & handyman

Job Summary Are you currently a landscaper and looking to be part of Team ? Thomas Home Services LLC is growing and we are seeking a hard working, responsible, dependable, team player, with good communication skills. Clients include home owners. This position is a contract/part time, 2-3 days a week (16-24 hours). This position is expected to last thru September or to be decided. We stay busy during the winter.

REQUIRED

responsibilities include; operating various law mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, edgers, powered pruning saws, ability to lift 50 lbs. and other reasonable tasks of a grounds maintenance specialist. Must be dependable, punctual. All jobs are local to Lewis & Thurston county. Salary DOE. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for construction, hardscape installation, and landscape improvements Conduct lawn care activities like aeration, fertilization, weed control, and irrigation system installation or repair Maintain trees through trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote safety and growth Implement landscape projects involving hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site Qualifications Proven experience in landscaping or related outdoor maintenance roles preferred Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, and construction machinery such as excavators or tree care tools Strong understanding of lawn care practices, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance techniques Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently in various outdoor environments Knowledge of irrigation systems and gardening practices is a plus Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in all weather conditions Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred We value energetic individuals eager to develop their skills in landscaping while contributing to beautiful environments.
