Competitive, based on experience Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our commercial cleaning team. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining a variety of floor surfaces and operating commercial floor care equipment. This position requires the ability to work independently, follow safety procedures, and consistently deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities Strip, wax, seal, and refinish VCT floors Burnish and buff hard floor surfaces Operate auto scrubbers, floor machines, and other floor care equipment Extract carpets and perform spot cleaning as needed Clean and maintain tile, grout, and other specialty flooring Follow company cleaning standards and safety procedures Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs Complete assigned locations within scheduled timeframes Safely handle cleaning chemicals and supplies Assist with general janitorial duties when needed Qualifications Previous floor care experience preferred Knowledge of floor stripping, waxing, burnishing, and carpet extraction techniques Ability to operate commercial floor equipment safely Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable transportation Valid driver's license preferred Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods Preferred Skills Experience with commercial janitorial services Knowledge of floor finishes and cleaning chemicals Experience working in schools, offices, medical facilities, or commercial buildings Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Benefits Competitive pay Paid training Opportunities for advancement Supportive team environment How to Apply Please submit your work history, relevant floor care experience, and contact information.
