Description Wage Range:
$25.72 - $31.98 Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. Job Summary:
Performs a wide variety of work requiring a mechanical aptitude for unskilled and limited semi-skilled activities and assists in the installation, maintenance and repair of hospital equipment, painting. Work is performed under the immediate direction of an employee of higher classification but many types of work assigned may be routine and repetitive and once learned can be carried out under only general supervision.
Primary Duties:
1. Repairs and maintains simple electrical, plumbing and mechanical devices and systems. 2. Helps in moving and setting up furniture and other equipment to support other departments. 3. Inspects building and equipment for needed repairs as directed. 4. Determines the proper course of action and implement repairs. 5. Performs other duties as assigned.
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Current Washington State Driver's license and proof of insurability DESIRED for the position:
  • Hospital maintenance/operations experience
