Seasonal Guest Services/Dock Attendant

POSITION OVERVIEW

As our Guest Services/Dock Attendant, you are the first line interaction with our guests, whether that is out on the docks handling lines, on the phone assisting with moorage and licensing, and assisting with retail sales. This position is key to the success of the marina as it has the most direct impact on the quality of our guest's experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Retail sales experience preferred Top notch customer service skills Effective communication skills both in person and on the phone Computer knowledge a plus

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assist with vessel pump outs on vessel Cleanbay Perform line handling and fueling of boats Assist in maintaining marina docks, equipment and grounds by picking up trash in visible areas, eliminating clutter, cleaning restrooms and showers, and performing other general cleaning tasks Greet customers and assist with questions and purchase of merchandise, moorage, fishing licenses, watercraft rentals and propane Fill propane tanks Answer phones to provide information and take moorage reservations Input guest moorage reservations into software Communicate with boat traffic and employees on VHF radio Process cash and credit card transactions, and reconcile cash register at the end of the day Assist with retail inventories as needed Run retail sales in marina office/store as needed Uphold the company's Mission/Vision/Values

PAY RANGE

$17.13 - $19.00 per hour. This position normally starts at $17.13. Placement above $17.13 is based upon qualifications and experience.
