In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our residential or commercial properties. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills while contributing to the overall quality of our facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Conduct repairs using welding techniques and mechanical knowledge to fix structural or equipment issues efficiently. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose problems accurately. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices to troubleshoot electrical circuits and components. Execute residential painting projects and other cosmetic repairs to enhance property appearance. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards and quality control are upheld. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing environments, or residential/commercial property upkeep. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform welding and basic carpentry tasks. Electrical experience including working with schematics and troubleshooting electrical systems using tools like ohmmeters. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is a plus for troubleshooting automated systems. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration. Supervising or leadership experience is desirable for overseeing maintenance projects or teams. Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking.
