$27/hr + overtime opportunities during peak turn season About the Role Walls Property Management is seeking a hands-on, versatile Maintenance Technician - Generalist to support our multifamily apartment portfolio during Seattle's busy leasing and turn season. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, moves quickly, communicates well, and enjoys variety in their day-to-day responsibilities. This is a field-based role focused on apartment turns, interior painting, exterior maintenance projects, roof coatings, unit preparation, and general property upkeep. The right candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, physically capable, and comfortable working independently or alongside a team. Our busiest season runs from spring through early fall, and we are looking for team members who can help us keep units moving quickly from move-out to rent-ready condition. Responsibilities Complete apartment unit turns efficiently and to company standards Perform interior painting, touch-up work, patching, prep, and finish work Assist with roof coating and exterior waterproofing projects Handle general maintenance tasks including: Drywall repair Caulking and sealing Minor plumbing and electrical repairs Fixture replacement Hardware installation Appliance installation/removal Prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins Perform cleaning and punch-list work as needed Assist with exterior property projects and curb appeal improvements Identify maintenance issues proactively and communicate them clearly Maintain organized tools, materials, and work areas Follow safety procedures and company operating standards Document completed work through company systems and mobile apps Qualifications Experience in apartment maintenance, construction, painting, or general trades preferred Experience with roof coatings, waterproofing, or exterior coatings is a plus Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Ability to work independently with limited supervision Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders or roofs when needed Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Ability to work efficiently during high-volume turn periods Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset What Success Looks Like Vacant units are completed quickly and professionally Paint lines are clean and units show well for leasing Turn timelines are met without sacrificing quality Exterior projects are completed safely and efficiently Team communication is proactive and solutions-oriented Residents and prospects see well-maintained, high-quality properties Why Join Walls Property Management?
