In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our club's cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence. Your energetic approach will ensure our facilities are spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped to provide an exceptional experience for members and staff alike. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills in cleaning, custodial work, equipment upkeep, and general facilities maintenance—all while working in a lively, team-oriented environment. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain a pristine environment. Conduct janitorial tasks such as restroom sanitation, floor care (buffing and polishing), and surface cleaning using commercial cleaning equipment. Maintain and troubleshoot club equipment—this includes routine inspections, minor repairs, and ensuring all machinery operates safely and efficiently. Assist with custodial responsibilities during special events or high-traffic periods to ensure the facility remains welcoming and hygienic. Support facilities maintenance by performing basic repairs, painting (residential or commercial), and ensuring all areas meet safety standards. Manage industrial cleaning tasks as needed to uphold health regulations and cleanliness standards across all club zones. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, cleaning schedules, and equipment status to ensure smooth daily operations. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors. Knowledge of facilities maintenance including basic plumbing, electrical work, or painting is a plus. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, commercial cleaning tools, and safety procedures related to custodial work. Previous porter or maintenance technician roles that involved equipment troubleshooting or repair are beneficial. Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
