Job Description

Who are we looking for? Walla Walla Housing Authority is currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! We are looking for someone who can perform general maintenance and repair tasks on buildings, apartments, grounds, and equipment. He/she would be required to demonstrate rudimentary knowledge of basic heating, carpentry, plumbing, and electricity. What will you do?
  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance in response to maintenance work orders issued
  • Perform routine preparation of WWHA owned/managed housing units for incoming tenants
  • Prepare appropriate documentation to support all tasks performed
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops What education, experience, skills and competencies do I need?
  • Two (2) years of work-related experience
  • Previous Housing Experience preferred
  • Initiative, collaboration and teamwork
  • Attention to detail
  • High school diploma/GED or higher
  • Valid Washington or Oregon State driver's license and acceptable driving record for employment.
