  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities.
This vital role involves maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance expertise, along with leadership qualities to supervise maintenance activities effectively. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and structural components using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks within building systems to improve efficiency. Conduct welding and residential painting as needed for repairs or aesthetic improvements around the property. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and generate detailed reports for management review. Supervise and coordinate external contractors or team members during complex repair projects or renovations, ensuring safety standards are met. Assist with facilities maintenance planning, including inventory management of parts and tools necessary for ongoing operations. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or residential environment. Proficiency in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair, including reading schematics and using testing devices like ohmmeters. Hands-on experience with welding techniques and residential painting projects. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation control systems. Ability to interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately. Excellent customer service skills to address guest or staff concerns promptly and professionally. Supervising experience in maintenance teams or contractor coordination to lead projects effectively. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Fluency in English for clear communication across diverse teams.
