Job Description

Maintenance Tech Appleton, WI | Full-Time | 6pm-6am | 2-2-3 Schedule | $27 - $30/hr +$3 Shift Diff About the Role We are seeking a mechanically inclined Maintenance Mechanic to support ongoing preventative maintenance and repair activities for manufacturing, packaging, and facility equipment. This role plays a key part in keeping production equipment operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on troubleshooting experience, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position also supports equipment improvements, machine changeovers, and general facility maintenance. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair work on manufacturing and packaging equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues
  • Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions
  • Assist with machine changeovers and equipment setup
  • Maintain machine safety guards and ensure equipment operates safely
  • Identify needed replacement parts and communicate inventory needs
  • Follow all lockout/tagout and manufacturing safety procedures
  • Operate scissor lifts and boom lifts safely and efficiently
  • Support housekeeping and maintenance of the facility and grounds
  • Assist electricians with mechanical aspects of maintenance projects when needed Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous mechanical maintenance experience required
  • Ability to understand written and spoken English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated math skills
  • Ability to follow manufacturing safety procedures and PPE requirements Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of machine teardown and rebuild procedures
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Electrical maintenance experience, if qualified
Pay:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
